From a non-US citizen - thank you so much for making it obviously already in the subject line that this is for the US only! There are few things more frustrating than being taken in by a good offer, only to find out on the very last line that it's US only. So thank you :-)

You're welcome. And sorry that the contest isn't just for the United States! Macmillian will be mailing it out so they have the last word on who they will mail to. Next time, hopefully.

No worries, I completely understand about shipping - so physical giveaways that state up front that they are US only don't bother me - it's when it's a gift certificate for a webshop or if I have to go hunting for the limitations that I get frustrated ;-)

:( I can imagine. By the way, I filled out a survey for The Book Depository a week ago, and for the question about if there was a place they didn't ship to that I thought they SHOULD, I said "DENMARK"!!!!

Well, I hope they listen to me. :)

So.. I happened to be on the Book Depository website and I don't remember why but checked where they ship to, and Denmark was on the list. I did a some googling.. and saw this tweet: https://twitter.com/#!/bookdepository/status/161860405285756928

Google translate says that this means they now ship to Denmark? This tweet is from Jan 24th, which is 4 days after we had this conversation on LJ. :O

Ha!!! I'm going to say that I influenced them when I filled out my survey. Ok, possibly not, but how awesome is that?! Now go buy something and see if it works! :P

Yup, that's exactly what it means! How very, very cool! I'm away this weekend, but will definitely take a more thorough look when I return. Thank you so much for checking thiis out for me! And yeah, it is totally your doing that they changed their policy! ;-)

Cinder sounds like an interesting book - sci fi and fairytale rolled into one. I remember hearing about this a long time ago - is it just now being released? or is it a ppb from hb release?

LOL - I just re-read the post! missed the audiobook portion. :( Now I feel silly. :)

:) The book came out (in hardcover), January 3rd. And the audiobook was released at the same time.
